Information we use

Your playlists, provider passwords, programme history and favourites are held by the player on your device. Our account service does not collect those playlists or provider passwords. When you play or refresh content, your device contacts your chosen provider directly. That provider receives the connection information needed to supply its service and has its own privacy terms.

Why we use it

We use account, device, trial and subscription information to fulfil our contract with you. We use necessary security and service information for our legitimate interests in preventing abuse and keeping the service reliable. We use information where needed to meet legal obligations, including applicable accounting requirements. We do not sell your personal information or use the website for advertising tracking.

Services that process information for us

These providers may process information outside the UK. Applicable international transfer arrangements, including adequacy decisions or contractual safeguards where required, govern those transfers. Contact us if you need information about a particular provider or transfer.

How long we keep information

We keep account and subscription records while needed to provide your account, resolve billing and meet legal obligations. You can request account deletion in the account service. If billing cancellation or removal is still pending, deletion must finish those steps before the account is erased. The service retains a hash of a deleted billing customer identifier and processed payment-event records for up to 90 days to prevent old payment notifications from restoring deleted access. Payment providers may retain their own records under their legal obligations. Support correspondence is kept while needed to resolve your enquiry and any related obligations.

Your choices and rights

You can manage registered devices, export your account information and request deletion through the account service. You can also contact us to request access, correction, erasure, restriction or portability, or to object to processing where those rights apply. We may need to verify that the request concerns your account. You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies and security

The public website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. Account and payment services use the session and security mechanisms needed for their functions. We restrict access to account information, store password hashes and protect account connections with HTTPS. Please keep account and provider credentials private. Do not include playlist passwords or payment card details in support messages.

Changes to this policy

We publish the current policy and its date here. If a change materially affects how we use account information, we will provide appropriate notice through the service or account email.
